The Columbia Gorge Teen Photo Camp is a residential summer camp for motivated teens who want to specialize in outdoor photography. Our camp is the brainchild of Dr. Robert Hanson who is Professor- Emeritus from San Diego State University with a specialization in camp counseling and camp administration. Our camp is based out of Lyle High School, just upstream from Hood River, Oregon. Campers will sleep in tents. After a hearty breakfast campers will head out in vans to scenic areas in and around the Gorge…Mt. Adams, Mt. Hood, countless spectacular waterfalls, scenic overlooks, windsurfing and kite surfing sites, fields of wildflowers, and many other incredibly beautiful places for great photo ops.
Our instructors are world-class, award winning outdoor photographers. They will spend time with each camper critiquing their photos both individually and in a group.
