A good exposure helps bring out the texture in this narrow slot canyon. It’s
a beautiful illustration of the textures and colors to be found in the
canyons and if we had a suggestion for improving it, it would be in the
composition which is a bit static. Slot canyons are subjects that lend
themselves to more abstract compositions. In this case, including the floor
of the canyon in the shot and keeping the camera level with the floor might
not be the best choice. Try playing with more surreal compositions and you
might make a stronger image.
